i had never been to a funeral with any kind of military honors (im sure a lot of you have though), but I gotta say, I got pretty darn choked up when a war-buddy of his who went through the battle of the bulge with him played taps. Sad to go to his funeral, but the gun salute and taps was pretty moving For some reason I thought it wouldnt move me that much after seeing it in so many movies etc. It was probably the only time Ill be at something like that, but im glad I got to experience it once.
