i always thought they considered Joesph Smith (i think) or the founder guy as like Christ or a Prophet. that would make it a cult as far I'm concerned. but I'm sure they are nice people.

^They think Joseph Smith is the last modern day prophet. They claim they believe in the same Christ that Christians believe in, but they don't. The book of Mormon contradicts too much stuff (more than the new testament contradicts the old testament) and it changed every 10 years because "someone was revealed the truth" blah blah blah (meaning they realized something in the book of Mormon was really fucked up so they changed it so they could recruit more people).

A lot of that growth is just from reproduction, down the street from my grandma in Wyoming there's this Mormon family on welfare, they have 9 kids, and apparently with so many of them welfare pays enough for a nice looking 3 story house with a two car garage, and several suvs, atvs, jet skis and snowmobiles.
