ESPN just mentioned it. They talked about how they scored a goal every 44 seconds, but they also called it the mother of all blowouts even though it was mentioned in the article that it doesn't even hold the record.

How is this even possible? I am absolutely baffled. At the very least the team could collapse towards the goal and hold them off for a few minutes.

Maybe they thought that using kids, like the Chinese did in gymnastics, would be advantageous, since apparently they have little fear and are more graceful. Unfortunately, the other team is much larger, and has sticks. I guess it's safe to say we won't be seeing Bulgaria in Vancouver for 2010.

I wonder if they stopped trying after it was 50-0.

The slovakia team doesn't even look very good.

I find it hillarious that they aren't even trying to go easy, they just keep peppering the goal even w/out a goalie. And the Bulgaria girls can't even stand up to fight on the skates. That shit is classic.


And the music played after every goal is pretty funny too.

the other thing is that when they pull the goalie, it's obvious that the girl who's playing back in the net is really a goalie based on the way she skates and moves, but they put her on defense because she was more valuable with her mobility as a d-man than as a goalie (not that it helped any)
