Well, he's since said it was a mistake and is currently against the war, so I don't see the issue, though I do wish he'd been originally against it. I'm just pointing out that he's NOTHING like Palin. That was 12 years ago you're talking about, and it was to support "abstinence education," not "abstinence only." In other words, he supports abstinence as part of a sex education plan, as I think everyone would agree should happen. Certainly you want to encourage kids to avoid sex but to use contraception if they don't.

I do have some other problems with Biden, though, like the fact that he's a huge supporter of the MPAA and RIAA. Oh, and the RAVE act, yikes. But ok, so you're right about maybe 25% of what you said, and I agree, those are important issues I disagree with him on... but considering the alternative...

On the topic of sexual education, I think anyone found to be sexually active before the age of 18 should be sentenced to death by firing squad. I bet teen pregnancies would drop by more than 90%.
