newcastle is shit. can you say "budweiser + caramel color" ?

so it's no surprise you "moved on" to coors light.

you must have absolutely no ability to discriminate real beer from pisswater.

pisswater goes down so easily though...dont hone in so much on the newcastle though...ive tried about everything at Peace Street Mart, Belltower Mart, Flying Saucer...theres just something easy about canned beer

please tell me though, whats the "real beer" that you drink?

theres no one "real" beer. there are hundreds. coors is not one.

try:

or

^^ well.. it depends. if i go to a punk or rockabilly show, something blue collar like that

I might just drink cans of PBR all night.

but generally speaking, life's too short to drink shit beer.

Bass Is Not an IPA.

you should become a fan of IPAs.

Bridgeport IPA is a good one for the noobs to start with.

Bass makes an IPA...you ever been to England?

I'll try your Bridgeport sometime but its probably crap

Bass declares, in small letters, to be an India Pale Ale. but any brewer will tell you it contains nowhere near the amount of hops to be a true IPA.

i said, Bridgeport is good for the noobs. As in: it's sort of a girl beer.

At this point, I dont think you can handle the Inversion, or any other "craft" IPA. ... especially considering that you think Newcastle is something special, and that you're content to suck down cases of Coors Light you buy at Wal*Mart.

so I need to start you off slow.

you are aware of the fact that beers that you get in the United States are not the same as the same brand beers in other countries, aren't you?

i dont need to waste my time telling you i can "handle" drinking a certain beer...you're just coming across as a snob

nobody thinks newcastle is anything special, and if you cant handle some coors light you're probably a faggot...i'm sorry you can't "handle" domestic light

aha... yeah, i cant handle your coors light.

anyhow, yes, im aware that brewers often market different brews to different countries.

but im also aware that the brews registered by Bass Brewers was sold to Coors Brewing Company when Bass Brewers was dissolved about 8 years ago -- except for the single "Bass Ale" that is retained and distributed by InBev.

and i know that the Bass Pale Ale they make in England is the same Pale Ale they export to the US. the only different version of their Pale Ale is that they sell to Ireland, which is actually sweeter, not hoppier. Bass has one other trademark, for a "Strong Ale" which is not even a Pale Ale, but a traditional ale with higher alcohol content.

Bass Pale Ale is not an IPA, and they don't make an IPA. if you say otherwise, you're just making shit up in another one of your typical attempts to be contentious.

to be honest, ive never really drank a beer due to taste. IE i really dont enjoy the taste of beer too much. i dont dislike it (besides a few), but ive just never had any that I really loved. ive had friends that have made me try dozens upon dozens of different beers over the years. There are a few beers that Ive had that I definitely didnt like, but none that were super positive. So I just end up drinking cheap stuff.

Not sure why, just how its always been for me :/

all this arguing and swinging of the beer penis is making it pretty obvious that beer is being drunk for the wrong reasons.

on another note, I tried Highland Gaelic tonight and was pleased

twista you're really stretching, now. your troll game is at an all time low if you think you can link Coors Light with white southerners.

everyone knows Coors is a "western" beer. Good southern boys drink Natural Light.

dumbass.

although Miller Light, Bud, and PBR are more associated with the south than Natty Light.

what? you think so? Natty Light is *all over* the south. not college kids, maybe, but old timers.

and PBR is like stereotypical blue collar factory guys. union hall stuff.

\/ EDIT: ehh. i guess doing my HS in Ohio, then Navy westcoast, before comign back to NC for college probably skewed my experience.

this is all just anecdotal, of course.
