I've been wanting to buy a new truck for a while now, and my cousin (who so happens to be a southeast distribution manager for Chrystler) can get me a really good deal on a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. does anyone have one of these? if so, what are your thoughts about it?

note to the eco-nazi's: I know it will get shitty gas mileage/kill furry woodland creatures/make you cry yourself to sleep, but you can't pull a boat with a fucking prius.

You can get a goodass deal on one of those right now without your cousin's help.

^ Oh i know, but this one's a 2007. he can get me a new one for about $14000 less than the sticker price (comes out to about $19400), but being in grad school somewhat limits my financial capabilities.

considering the status of the used market for trucks like that, 19400 doesn't sound like that great of a deal

but i think buying any vehicle new is a bad idea altogether, so whatever. my $.02

^me too. For ~$20,000 you could be cruising in a freaking crew cab (not wussie quad cab) duelie 4x4 with the leather interior and everything. Probably enough left over for a used jet-ski too.

maybe you should put this in The Garage and also learn that there is no T in Chrysler.

You didn't see the articles? It's part of their new plan to win over the bible belt and mexicans.
