I think that it could have to do with how many times you hvae logged in because I cannot see anything but the new Facebook (I log in all the time), but my husband sees the old Facebook (he logs in rarely).

I can't stand the new AIM, I have a pretty old version. It's not hard to find if you try, but this works if you like the old one better

Then, use this link:
http://apps.new.facebook.com/?fbnew_opt_out=1

this gets you the old facebook layout, though you have to use the link every time you log in again, just save it as a bookmark

I rarely go on facebook anymore. If only it could be exactly the way it was when I was a freshmen- no apps, only college students and very simple. They've been going way overboard. Sure they want to add features and changes to make it more popular, but it has the opposite effect on some of us.
