My blow off valve makes a hissing noise when letting off pressure... I want to put a woopie cushion sound on the end of it....

Any ideas?

route the bov dump to your intake manifold for that extra power! also, route your exhaust gas from your muffler back into the air intake. It's like doubling the turbo efficiency.

If you do decide to reroute air from the muffler back into the air intake, make sure you run it through the AC compressor. Really cools the air down.

question: a blow-off valve? wtf is a blow-off valve?

answer: a bov is a device people install on their turbocharged car to let other people know the car is turbocharged. it is a common upgrade performed not for performance reasons but for noise reasons. the owner of the car has realized the turbocharger is so small that nobody can hear it so a blow-off valve is installed as a substitute and gives the owner a false reassurance that he is driving a true "man's" car.

Examples:

this vehicle needs a blow-off valve because the turbocharger sound is non-existent.

this vehicle does not need a blow-off valve because it has a large (or man's) turbo on it.
