Has anyone else used the NES emulator NNNesterJ? I'm at a point in a game where I have to use the actual battery backup to save the game (rather than save states) if I want to progress.

However NNNesterJ refuses to do this. There's no error message; the save file just won't be there when I reset.

I had no problems with this when I used Nesticle. Unfortunately I now have Vista so that won't work. I'm just hoping there's a way to fix it without having to fire up another emulator and start all over. I tried searching for the answer through Google but didn't come up with anything. Any ideas?

I've tried. It gives me this:

"Unable to set ddraw video mode: unsupported"
