I'd go for the movie idea, but i might wait a little later down the road do try that. I was hoping for maybe lunch or dinner or something where i can talk and really have a chance at getting to know the girl. Movies would really work for a second almost date/first date?

a: if you are not planning to go, and she says she is not going, ask her if she wants to go to a sports bar, grab lunch, and watch the game

Call her this afternoon, ask her to lunch on Saturday or Sunday. Don't do the movie idea, that sucks for first dates, you wanna talk to her and get to know her and lunch is casual enough where it won't be a big deal. Wait until at least 3rd or 4th date for a movie.
