so has anybody been to Zydeco?
the reviews on citysearch are HORRIBLE, but I still want to give it a try for the creole food and the live jazz 11/15/2008 9:28:12 PM |

been going to Zydeco for years, executive chef's actually a good friend of mine. Decent seafood, great jazz. Entertainment schedule varies nightly. Yancey's used to be good for live jazz, there was actually some speculation they'd put Zydeco under 2 or 3 years ago when they sank $1.5M or so into the renovation, but they've gone under in recent months. Amra's on glenwood south is pretty decent as well, but it's a bit pretentious for my tastes.

not in the area anymore, but sullivans on glenwood used to have some good trios, as did bogarts on some nights. 11/17/2008 10:40:11 PM |
