So. Hey everyone. I'm framing one of these two pictures of my boyfriends dog for his birthday (8x11- huge frame). He loves his dog. Which one should it be? If the pictures are huge, someone please resize them.. I'm not computer savvy. Thanks errrbody I hope that worked and they're not huge.

UH? there is no debate. The one with the face. Got anymore with the face?
9/26/2008 12:25:30 AM
yeah. I like that one best. want to see more?
9/26/2008 12:26:23 AM
sure. the more the merrier.
9/26/2008 12:33:02 AM
why would you even pick the one with just paws and legs?
9/26/2008 12:35:28 AM
cause thats what we (me and my boy) always see hanging from under the bed. Its cute. I looked at the others and they're just not as good as the one I selected earlier. But heres my other dog, she'll bite your face off.

Well thats exactly why I asked you guys.

^I like the paws by them selves, but your Depth of Field is so shallow that one paw is out of focus. You could change this up by using a tighter crop - but you may not be playing with gear that allows you to get away with something like that. The one I picked has nice DoF, the important parts in focus, and the flash flare is offset from the center of the eye. It's crooked, but I think it helps add balance to the huge head.Great shot, btw...

Yeah, Its a nikon D70

^ same thing I use I've bid on a D1x cause I'm hard up for cash (basically same specs, but faster AF, DOF preview, the works.) I've applied for 4 jobs for the sole purpose of making extra cash to get a D2xs, but they're just freaking expensive even with the new D700 on the market...

yeah, its tough out there. Listen, thanks for your input. I think it will look great as an 8x11 in this huge frame I got to day for 25.00 It will be a great addition to the other 6 million things I've gotten him.
