ATL


had a meeting in Milton (rich city 20-30 miles north of Atlanta, not familiar with it at all)
first gas station I came to had gas, and about 30 cars in line, I was close to empty (warning light had been on for a while) so I decided to stick it out.
Turns out there were TWO lines of 30 cars feeding into one pump.
2.5 hours later I was two cars away when the owner came out waving his arms saying the entire station was out.
I didnt have enough gas to get back to an area I knew, so I used the garmin to find local gas stations... went by 27 stations, all completely empty.
didnt want to run out in the middle of the road so I parked in a shopping center, called my boy up and he had to go get a gas can, find gas in Atl, drive up to Milton etc. (several hours)
Then, he was only able to get me enough to start home
found a station with a somewhat short line, waited 40 minutes, got the $20 max. and then finally got home about 20 minutes ago.

i spent ~1hr in line at the QT on sidney marcus yesterday after driving around for 45minutes trying to avoid said line.

Today is the worst I've seen it so far. I live in Decatur and work down below 285, and ever since the gas shortage began I've been able to find at least 1 or 2 on the way with gas and no lines.

I thought I would try and fill up when I went to the grocery store today but every single station around here that I went to either had none or there was a pretty massive line. Hopefully it was only like that today since everyone wanted to fill up for work tomorrow.
