It is from an English comedy show called Red Dwarf that aired in the late 80s and through the 90s. It is pretty much my most favorite TV show ever. The character pictured is Ace Rimmer. He is the alternate dimension version of a main character, Arnold Rimmer, who is known throughout the series as being the most giant coward ever, hence his alternate dimension version is pretty much a ridiculously over to top hero. It is an absolutely hilarious show. Man I need to watch that episode again.
