I bought an acer widescreen lcd monitor. However, my computer, running xp dosen't have any widescreen settings in the control panel. I found the best one that looks alright, but it basically just stretches everything.

If I updated my graphics card, would I have a widesceeen size option?

Thanks for any insight to this stupid question.

The only driver I can find for the monitor is for Windows Vista, which helps me none.
