JBaz - shave your head, be unfunny and get those hot girls to follow you around with silver briefcases with number on them.

Tetris.

Make sure all your costumes are the same proportions. Get someone to bring a boombox playing the tetris theme. Then everyone comes into formation and you lose a line!

I really wanted to do it, but none of my friends did.

Through t-shirts we ordered and clothes we already have, there are 4 of us doing this "group" costume.

It'd be cool to see an avengers team. With all the hype from the avengers initiative at the end of the Hulk & Iron Man movies. I think the Halloween right after when the Captain America comes out we might see a lot of such groups. Since the avengers have changed members over the years you would have many options as far as which costume you wanted to make. Going as a comic book character is kind of dorky (but hey thats what halloween is all about in some ways), but no worse than ninja-turtles. And you could hit this theme a year or two before it comes the big thing to do like Pirates and Aqua Teens were last year.

Another foursome that comes to mind:

as any one of the Dread Pirates Roberts

* The original Roberts, retired fifteen years in Patagonia at the time Ryan picked Westley to be the next Dread Pirate Roberts;
* Clooney, the original Roberts' first mate;
* Cummerbund;
* Ryan;
* Westley, who presumably retires shortly following the end of the novel;
* Inigo Montoya (presumed in movie).

Something a little different:

Get everyone to dress like you're running a marathon & run around everywhere, maybe even have two people with a "finish line." Also works great for large groups to have people with "water" handing you plastic cups.
