yeah, I wish I had bought the gibson SG that was on sale at guitar center a few months ago with P90's..it sounded/played awesome. although the neck was heavy as shit so it felt really unbalanced to me--didn't affect much though

SGs are notoriously head-heavy

and up until a few years ago, the neck tenon was very small and fragile

they're by far one of the most fragile lines of solidbody guitars ever

SGs snap off at the neck/body joint all the time (not just randomly, of course, but drop an SG and don't be surprised if the neck snaps there)
