qualification:

pot -- in and of itself -- is not rehab worthy. i HOPE he doesnt fall into the stoner crowd/lifestyle. but a little social use is less harmful than alcohol, IMO

i think seattle has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation.

not because 'they're bored' but i think the weather/darkness is a contributing factor. Finland has the same problem.

the worst part is a popular bridge is used, and people splatter on the businesses below the bridge on a fairly regular basis: several times a year, every year. i understand it's depressing for the people who work there

dont think that'd work... its a big bridge (Aurora Ave Hwy 99 bridge over Lake Union for those of you following at home).

the city put Suicide Hotlines on all four pedestrian corners. a couple months later, a writer from one of the weekly rags checked out the phone. picked one up, and was promptly put on hold for like 5 minutes.

i have. it's been blonde, all shades of brown (including almost black), reddish...and everything in between. it's growing out so i have to do something soon. natural is dark, dark blonde...it just seems too boring
