Seriously, I want to disable the mechanism in the microwave that makes noise.It beeps when you push the buttons and when it's finished cooking.

either like a small speaker or a 1" or so diameter small black disk. Would have 2 wires going to it and is probably mounted on one of the walls.I don't actually recommend you take your microwave apart, but if you do, unplug it and let it sit for a while before opening it up.

what kind of microwave is it?a lot of newer ones will let you adjust the volume of the beepingjust look up the model number on the company's website
