I'm on board the NOAA research vessel Ronald H Brown for a month long research cruise. Check on the ping times on our internet connection.

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Better than no internet at all.

I don't imagine there are any gamers on board, unless you like networked games of Chess or something.
