5th grade. Teacher actually stopped class and turned on the TV to hear the verdict. None of the students knew what was going on. Hooray public school.

I don't remember

I remember I was on vacation somwhere, in my hotel room, watching the bronco chase.

And I was like "Who is this again"
and my dad was like "the running back"
and I was like "..."
and he was like "the guy from the Naked Gun movies"
and I was like "Oh yeah!"

That was 1995...I think I was in fifth grade. I still remember the OJ case, and even then how fucking stupid it was that he got the "not guilty" verdict. Or I at least remember how stupid my parents thought it was.

I was in the high school library with about 100 other kids watching the verdict on TV. As soon as "not guilty" was uttered, about 90% of the blacks in the room and 75% of everyone else started cheering wildly and then ran through the hallways celebrating. But I only remember it because the people standing closest to me were a couple of black kids, and in the midst of everyone else's celebration, one of them just looked at the other, shook his head in disbelief, and very calmly said, "Man, nigga got away with murder."

October 3, 1995 - O.J. Simpson is found not guilty of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ronald Goldman.

October 4th, no idea, probably sleeping in class somewhere.
