you're looking southbound. the cars coming toward you are on the inner, and the cars on the right going away from you are on the outer
or, to use the new lingo... the cars coming toward you are on eastbound 440, and the cars going away from you are on westbound 440
also, this is at wade, not hillsborough

I wish WRAL would hire me as their TWW liaison. I could get the news to them in a much more timely fashion than they are able to on their own.
Also EPIC FAIL for them showing the wreck on their camera and no article despite traffic being backed up for miles...... 10/7/2008 12:57:11 PM |

I wish WRAL would hire me as their TWW liaison and then I could sub it out to you for less than half of what they are paying me. 10/7/2008 1:02:30 PM |

Quote : | "Raleigh, N.C. — The ramp leading from inbound Wade Avenue on Interstate-440 was closed early Tuesday afternoon after a piece of concrete fell off of a tractor trailer, Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
The truck was carrying precast concrete and overturned when its driver was attempting to navigate the on-ramp on the Inner Beltline on Tuesday morning.
No injuries were reported and no vehicles were damaged.
Equipment was being brought to the scene to help clean-up the concrete, Sughrue said in a statement." |
