so, a friend of mine from work had been dating his girl for like 5 years, fucking the hell out of her, of course. He goes out shopping for an engagement ring and puts a down payment on it without her knowing. Like, the next fucking day, he calls me and says she is pregnant and they just found out... He had been talking about the ring for several weeks, so it really was coincidence.

Anyway, they were gonna get married in a year, until baby came along. They got married like 2 weeks later, and BOTH of their folks were telling them NOT to do it.

Was that a shotgun wedding?
