it's not the best, but it's definitely not the worst (see Gumby's)

plus, rooftop bar trumps "bad" pizza

get a grinder next time...disappointed you will be not!

I would take Gumby's EVERY time over that crap I had last night

Anything from the Harris Teeter frozen pizza section is better.

How can anyone think that some melted globs of cheese (that won't even stay on the pizza, just slides around ) with a little sauce on FLAT BREAD is good, or even better than Gumbys?

I think there may be a fair bit of fluctuation from franchise to franchise.....the Rudino's rooftop off Strickland is exponentially better than the one in Knightdale (big surprise)

damn now I want some Rudino's

Hmmm... I never thought the Rudino's in Wake Forest was that bad. I'd occasionally have that when I was at my parents. I tried to get Bella Napoli mostly though (New Yorkers)...

I mean it's no Piccolo or even NY Pizza, but it's better than the large chains and the shitass pizza like Gumby's...

I guess the chain varies from store to store because the ones I've been to (WF & Cary) have been really good. I'm just not going back because the last time I went it took them an hour and a half to get us our order (a pizza). We were one group of about 3 groups in the entire restaurant. Probably 10 customers total including us. Don't know why I didn't just leave.

\/ Usually don't get a pizza when I go. So what's your idea of a good pizza, that is if they even serve pizza wherever it is you are looking down on all of the rest of us from. I agree with you though. I'll never go back to the Cary Rudinos. Service was beyond terrible. I guess their food is slipping now as well.

^^^^I was at the Rudino's in Cary, by Davis Drive.

^^^Anzi's is pretty good, though its been slipping the last few years (or maybe my expectations went up).

^^Trust me, this Rudino's location was infinitely worse than Gumby's.

^if you thought that was good pizza you dont know good pizza.

[Edited on October 9, 2008 at 11:27 AM. Reason : DeGiorno's was easily better than this crap. So is Red Baron]

I'm a thin crust pizza guru, so what I say is pretty much always right on the subject...

In any case, a Little Caesars opened up right down the street. While it's not great by any stretch, it's actually better than most of the sorry pizza places on the West Coast. Plus you can't beat $5 pizzas ready without having to wait...

the pizza looked like, and tasted like those $1.50 Totinos frozen pizzas at the grocery store.

Honestly... cry me a fucking river.

I'm in the Siberia of pizza. The shit out here is like that all the time, but still costs $17 for a large...

There is ONE good pizza place in a 50 mile radius here..

Yep... counting down the months (mainly because school sucks) I'll miss being able to hop in the car, drive 2 hours and be at Tahoe though...

Oh, we need to start up the ski trip again, by the way...

Tim the crusts were about even, but your pizza had better sauce, cheese, and toppings.

Rudinos isn't great, but it isn't that bad either. They just don't have much flavor. I'd still put it leaps and bounds above places like CiCis. I can barely force their pizza down my throat.

I ate there when the Canes were in the Stanley Cup the first time. It was filled with trailer trash Red Wing fans and the local Detroit CBS station was doing a live broadcast.

Never been back...

I live next to the one in North Raleigh off strickland. The pizza is not the best I've had but I consider only a few places in Raleigh to have better pizza then them. Though I might be a little biased because they have that nice rooftop that I drink beer on all the time.
