Facts about the company:

-About 20 people strong. About half have kids that will probably be attending.

-Limited budget of ~$4K

-Would like a place near Brier Creek

Anybody have any experience with anything like this? If you do, I am open to other suggestions like, music options, entertainment for the kids and alcohol choices.

Thanks

BRASA

Full Buffet Per Person = $35 * 20 people = $700

so $3400 for alcohol.

4K is an extremely good company Christmas budget for 20 people these days. What overpriced product do you guys sell?

Lol. I was going to post "shredded wet newspaper" as a potential lowest bid in the thread, but someone already beat me to it.

the same reason people go to the bar and don't just sit at home with the money they earned in their pocket?

IF THE GOVERNMENT CAN DO FUZZY MATH SO CAN WE

Seriously though, Brasa is awesome. Have it there and no one will be disappointed unless they're a picky douchebag.

If you have a $4k budget make sure half of that goes to door prizes. Errybody is going to be in a good mood when you're drawing raffle tickets for a 42" Plasma TV.

You sure you will not be laid off before Xmas? Maybe a closing party?

^^i think an aquarium of such a size to accomodate professional stripers would put them way over budget, let alone their travel expenses

!$700.

20 people work for the company. if half have kids you can assume that most of those will also have spouses, and maybe half that don't have kids might be married or have an SO, so we're talking more like 40 people.

still, you can go somewhere decent for that amount. at my last job we had probably 25 employees, each with an SO but no one brought their kids. we went to tony's oyster bar in cary. everyone ate and drank like fools but i think we probably topped $5k. i'm sure if you tell people to not go ape shit with the booze you could get by on your budget, especially since kids won't be eating as much or drinking at all.
