^^^ I suppose that is a bit of it, but as a native New Yorker and being a Mets and Rangers fan, I can say I've hated Philadelphia sports a lot longer than just the last few years.

I'm sort of glad we have a real rivalry now... The Mets and Phillies SHOULD be the biggest of rivals being only 80 miles apart...

That whole stadium would turn into a Hollywood Whore-Fest if the Dodgers somehow made win the next three. Spencer and Heidi and Paris and Britney and prolly even Amy Winehouse. Much different than regular season Dodger games where the demographics of the crowd closely resemble the State Pen.
