damn motorola phonetools for not being able to override that shit

damn motorola phonetools for trying to make me pay for a mp3 codec

find mp3

http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Search/mp3_editor.html

use anyone of these to clip it down to the sound bite you want and re-encode it at a lesser quality until it meets your requirements.

yeah, with phones now days, there is no reason to buy a ring tone. I always make mine by cutting mp3s

^^^ That's all mine is, it just happened to be slightly too large because of the stupid limit AT&T put on it. I converted it to 64 bitrate instead of the 128 and it was good

it wasn't that i couldn't get it on my phone. i could, but i couldn't apply it as a ringtone because 350 KB or some shit like that was too large. lamee.

i don't use special ringtones. but the ones already on my phone are pretty freaking hilarious. i just pick the most ridiculous sounding one and put it as my ring. not the annoying ones but the ones that are trying to be a funk song or a jazz song. really really cheesy.

actually most of mine sound like really really really bad dance club songs. like the kind of clubs with men in shiny shirts and chains.
