I was checking out my stock H/U (Delphi Delco Elec., part # 15104155, stock radio on 2004 chevy colorado) and noticed an open connection for a harness. It's 2 rows of 6 pins. Anyone know what this is/what I can use it for? I was hoping for a way to connect aftermarket speakers/ipod accessories to my h/u, but this one doesn't have any outputs, except for this one open slot, which I don't know what it is.
Also, if I save up the money, and really feel like getting rid of my stock H/U, what are some good suggestions for aftermarket players and do you have one for sale? I'd prefer a 2-din with a front usb port.

if you're getting a aftermarket CD player, I have a GM wiring harness you can have. 10/11/2008 8:30:39 PM |

if you have an 04 more than likely you will need a data harness to maintain door chimes, onstar etc. 10/12/2008 12:54:22 AM |

I don't have onstar and I don't care for door chimes, so is there another reason to get a data harness? 10/12/2008 10:44:09 AM |
