Is there anywhere online where I can have my transcript sent somewhere, or do I need to go in to do this? Seems like it would be on MyPack but I don't see anything. 10/11/2008 1:23:56 PM |

^^ i don't see why that's a problem, the ncsu homepage uses google as its search engine. 10/11/2008 2:17:06 PM |

if you use the search engine on ncsu.edu, our website is the first result. "Request a Transcript - Registration and Records"
it is extra to fax because 1) most of the time it is long distance, 2) we have to send a white copy along with the original because the original is hard to read 3) the original is hard to read so we try to discourage faxing. 10/11/2008 8:32:13 PM |

1. A single, long-distance fax is $5?! 2. Maybe an official document that isn't hard to read would make some sense? 3. A public education institution purposely makes the exchange of information more difficult? Doesn't that seem a bit backwards?
Oh and nevermind that after paying tens of thousands of dollars over the years to the university, the (former) student is forced to deal with this kind of hassle

this is a freaking scam. A friend from clemson says they let you keep access to that info after you grad for free. 11/26/2008 5:33:43 PM |

^^ it isn't R&R that won't let you access the info. it's the university in general. we would prefer that you keep your unity id and have access to that stuff forever - would save us a lot of trouble. 11/28/2008 9:44:01 PM |
