In Windows Explorer you can pick just about any category to use when sorting files: by name, size, type, date, etc. You can sort by "dimensions," but this always sorts according to the horizontal dimension, and ignores the vertical dimension. Does anybody know of a way to sort by vertical dimension? 10/12/2008 1:23:15 AM |

change view to Details mode
right-click on the categories bar, select More... at the bottom
scroll down, check Height, click OK
click on the Height column on the categories bar 10/12/2008 10:46:16 AM |

Yeah, height doesn't show up for me either for some reason. I'm running XP, does that matter? 10/13/2008 4:42:49 PM |

All I see is Dimensions, there is not a separate Height field in XP. 10/13/2008 4:53:22 PM |

Vista supports it.
Or get a freeware/shareware image portfolio application that supports it. 11/26/2008 5:32:05 PM |
