Anybody see this yet? I wanted to see it last night but the group I was with decided on QUARANTINE.

[Rec] is a lot better than Quarantine, or so I've heard.

I think distribution companies put a moratorium on releasing it in the U.S. until after Quarantine tanks and goes to DVD.

Then they can release it as "THE INSPIRATION FOR THE FILM QUARANTINE" and sell even more DVDs.

quarantine's got a 65% on rottentomatoes...it looks intriguing, though i dont usually see scary movies in the theater

I thought this movie was pretty meh...at the time it had a 8.1/10 on IMDB, but it really deserved more of a 6.9.

Good: Acting, cinematography, the last 1.5 hours.
Bad: Convoluted and too long. Too much shit crammed into 2.5 hours with no real substance. Lots of extraneous characters and sideplots. Also didn't like the gore in one or two scenes.

I went and saw this last night not knowing what it was even about and enjoyed it all the way through. I never felt bored or like the movie was taking too long.
