I usually go through newegg.com for a lot of things computer, electronic, stereo, and accessory related but lately their shipping prices are just ridiculous.

What do you guys/girls use these days?

I have had several bad experiences with Tiger Direct so I will probably never go back to them.

actually not really

I was looking at ordering some optical cables for my stereo that cost 9.95. The shipping cost was $11. 2 6ft cables that weigh less than a pound don't warrant that kind of cost.

it's been crazy for 5-6 years.

it's not based on weight, but on price. if the item is cheap, shipping is expensive. the inverse is not true though, as an expensive item's shipping is still expensive.

Monoprice in my opinion is the best deal around for cables.

Thier stuff is high quality and worth every penny.
