I think that should be a legitimate excuse. I mean, you were unconscious. It's not like you decided not to go to the midterm. I equate that with someone bludgeoning you in the back of the head on the way to class, knocking you out.

yeah hopefully its not that big a deal, maybe next class i can just do it, i mean its only 2 sets of 6 arrows anyway

I got an automatic A+ in my archery class because I put all the arrows on the bullseye (6-7 in a row I think).

I suck at Archery and it was pure luck, but his policy was if you scored perfect at all in the semester you get an A+. Unfortunately, I was taking it credit only or pass/fail whatever

yeah the other day i walked into class late, just in time to shoot with group 2, grabbed my bow, walked up to the quiver and realized after my second arrow that i had shot the first, had my first 3 go in bulls eye, 1 in the red around it, and the other 2 went wide

rest of my sets for the day were terrible

I mean, a sleeping person may not be technically unconscious, as you say, but they are certainly not conscious.
