who has one? is it functional? i've always lived in pretty spacious homes, but i'm thinking about down sizing and getting a studio on Ocean Drive. I'd wake to the beach every morning. The rents are between $850-1250 for a studio depending on where its located on South Beach.

we all know you don't live down there and that you don't exist

10/16/2008 7:56:45 PM
why do you idiots keep saying he's not real? Especially when there is more proof that he IS real than there is that he ISN'T?I MET THE FUCKIN DUDE

10/16/2008 8:33:34 PM
studios are finehow big12X20 living space?
10/16/2008 9:34:43 PM
HHHMMMM we thought you owned a 2 bedroom condo....factor in falling realestate prices and i smell BS
10/16/2008 9:36:48 PM
The studios I'm looking at are around 400-600 sq feet. but I'm seeing some developer deals for rent on new condos that came up and aren't sold fully. some units are now rentals.
10/17/2008 8:31:48 AM
Studio Apartments are the biggest ripoff of the century."We're going to charge you between 1 and 4 times the amount that a house would cost you and give you less square footage for your troubles. Plus, you'll never own it because you're renting from us."
10/17/2008 9:19:13 AM
find a house in south beach for that price dumbass
10/17/2008 9:20:39 AM
Probably cause developers bought all the land up from where there used to be houses.
10/17/2008 9:23:00 AM
the rents are cheaper for good quality rental space. besides i'd be a 1 minute walk from the beach. i think its a better deal. i pay $2000 on a mortgage and all associated costs. i can rent my 3/2.5 out easily.
10/17/2008 10:32:38 AM
when I first glanced at the title I thought it said ShinAntonio. parody?
10/17/2008 10:34:08 AM

10/17/2008 10:34:47 AM
punchmonk you must have some fucked up vision
10/17/2008 10:54:27 AM
i thought a studio would be more appealing. i'd get in touch with my creative side more.
10/17/2008 12:36:11 PM

I too have met Amsterdam. We met at a Waffle House off Independence in Charlotte. He's an alright guy. A bit too paranoid.... but i just think it was the weed.
10/17/2008 1:37:15 PM
i was looking at some online last night. i really want to move into one.i need to ask for a raise at work first since i don't know if i can afford living by myself yet
10/17/2008 1:45:05 PM
i think a studio is more efficient. i'll be across from the beach and i doubt i'll spend much time there. this studio is the beginning of me becoming an official beach bum. i'm done being ballerific.
10/17/2008 1:49:02 PM
I'm a bigger fan of large lofts.
10/17/2008 1:50:49 PM
loft space in Miami is sort of generic. its like a constructed loft and 3 x's the money. in new york city you actually get an industrial loft . . . that was some other type of building initially.

I don't know why but for some reason this thread reminds me of IHATESPIDA. Whatever happened to that guy?
