Teaser trailered revealed tonight (10/16/08), which was found in the new PS3 version of the game. The trailer shows a possibly grown up Little Sister staring out into the Atlantic Ocean, while the cityscape of Rapture rises up in the sand behind her.

I can't wait, Bioshock was one of my all time favorites, and I hope the sequel can stand up to the atmosphere and plot of the original....

Do you think there is anything to the sand rising up other than just visual effect for the teaser?

I still have to finish the first one. I have had it since the day it came out, and only played some of the first level. Its good, but it just didn't suck me like I thought it was going to. I plan on playing right after Dead Space.

This is slightly unrelated but I just Dled the Bioshock demo for PS3 and the graphics seem noticeably worse than the Xbox 360 version, is this actually the case?

Will Bioshock 2 be similarly second-rate on the PS3?

^ actually the PS3 was hooked up to quite a bit nicer TV (1st gen 720p LG vs new Samsung 650 series). The PS3 also uses HDMI vs. component video on the Xbox.

The main difference seemed to be in lower res texture and much poorer volumetric lighting.

I wonder if Bioshock 2 will come out for both systems simultaneously, or if it will be a 360 timed-exclusive like the first.

Not that I care.

I just want to see how they're going to come up with a neat new environment.

I wonder if it is a sequel that will somehow incorporate a type of prologue to the original bioshock.

I dont know how else you could reincorporate Rapture after so long

I got bioshock for my 360 about a month ago. I already read the plot synopsis on wikipedia.

Is it worth finishing? I'm probably 4 hours into it.
