I'm basically putting a big fat new hard drive in my computer and want to do a clean install across the board because this fucker has been together for going on 5 years...and it has become pig slow.

just pirate an enterprise edition of windows xp

i'm sure there's a way though to manually copy particular files to the drive, making the CD think an OS is already installed, and then forcing it to reinstall... but I don't have an XP cd to look at to see if this is possible.

If you really want a copy of Win 98, PM me. It's probably less trouble to just get a Corp version of Win XP though.
