it's disgusting. Bad location for such a display (not that there is a good location for it), but damn it! People are trying to eat there.

Seriously, they are not accomplishing anything. Everyone knows abortions are gross and a nasty thing, but that doesn't mean it's going to stop just because they show graphic images in front of the damn cafeteria. They are just as sickening as PETA with their disgusting images. And just as productive too.

I listened to them talk yesterday, and I heard not one mention of contraception. I heard "don't have sex until marriage" a zillion times, but we all know how convincing that is. There was a woman (feminist?) out there arguing against the display, and I went and listened to her rant on, because frankly, she made a lot more sense because she left the religious nonsense out of it.

Well, yeah, they need a permit. What I'm saying is that, for example, if NCSU denied these people a permit to display on campus, they would start calling NCSU a pro-abortion college. I'm not up to speed on the whole permit thing, but that's what my idea of it is.

As far as I know, the only group they would not give a permit to is the KKK (from that technician awhile back) since that is regarded as hate speech.

I fully support abortions and was aware of the fact that a dead fetus resulted from the procedure. I think one, maybe two people should have say in that decision: the mother, and in my ideal world the father would have a say as well. That said, contrary though it may to my beliefs, this is definitely an expression in the spirit of free speech and I see more wrong with censoring it than the fact it upsets stomachs in its current location

^I also think the KKK should be able to speak, and we all know they didn't let them have a permit because they didn't want people to realize what a hick school State is

Saab- This was in the context of discussing magazine sizes, calibers, bullet performance, etc. The videos served as anecdotal evidence of the power of that weapon, and further illustrated something of the technique one would use in approaching a boar with a hand weapon. The mind has an interesting way of correlating unrelated facts to produce new conclusions, and though I presumably will never have the need for that specific information, for this reason I value that experience all the same.

If you wanted to play the videos in the brickyard while I was eating at the Atrium, I would probably find a seat not facing your presentation, but under no circumstances would I act to restrict that expression merely because it disturbed my apetite.
