ESPN is interviewing Josh Hamilton next Thursday at Athens Drive High School. They want to gym to be full. I am guaranteed a ticket, but don't want to go. Anyone want it?

ran into Josh's older brother last night at the fair. didn't get a chance to speak to him but i hadn't seen jason in atleast 10 years so it was pretty cool. he had his kids and wife with him. if any of you know jason and have his e-mail address, i would appreciate it (PM it to me). my dad coached him in legion ball back in the 90's.

it was a good interview. some pretty good guest speakers -- notably jarrod saltalamacchia, jerry and johnny narron. salty talking about how they have similar appearances and he has even signed a few autographs in place of josh with people mistaking the two.

josh was wearing a red ncsu pullover in some of the clips as well.

yeah he was probably going to play for ncsu if he had decided to go to college...

can't say i blame him for skipping, though (3.96 million reasons why)

Haha, Josh committed to NCSU but there was no way he was ever going to come here. He wouldn't have qualified academically if he had wanted to come.

My wife's dad coached Josh's legion ball team and was a pitcher at NCSU. Josh wouldn't have qualified academically (I guess I should clarify that that's how I know Josh wouldn't have qualified, not that my wife's dad did anything that would've kept Josh from getting into State).
