finally took my car to leith chrysler this morning to find out what that horrible roaring was when i was coming out of first gear

turns out the back motor mount is completely fubar (definitely makes sense considering the symptoms)... $349 all inclusive. the extended warranty is covering it, but i have to pay up front and they reimburse me

also getting new tires this afternoon... shit's gonna be like $650.

i need moar monies... i could tap into savings/money market but i'd rather not touch that

We also found a unicorn jumping around in your muffler. It was poking holes with its little horn and its little jumping.

That will be $7000 dollar bucks.

JESUS GOD SON, WHY ARE YOU PAYING THAT MUCH FOR TIRES SON?!

DON'T GET RAPED BY THE DEALER SON. EVEN THOUGH I KNOW YOU LIKE TO TAKE IT UP THE ASS, YOU SHOULD AT LEAST DECIDE WHEN AND WHERE YOU DO SON.

my tires are a weird size, 235/65 r17's... even tirerack couldn't beat the price Bull Tire is giving me on this set. cheapest i could get out would be $570 something for a set of kuhmos

bummer... I know how you feel though. Just got new tires, then had 1/2 of a pair of the jumbo needle nose pliers go through one. Then had a semi throw up a grapefruit sized rock... shattered the windshield. Now I need new brakes on the front. I'm le broke.

YOU TELL ME THE TIRE SIZE SON, THEN YOU ORDER THE TIRES ONLINE SON. THEN YOU GET THEM PUT ON AT THIS TEXACO NEAR THE AIRPORT SON (THEY WILL DO A DAMN GOOD JOB WITHOUT FUCKING UP YOUR WHEELS AT A GOOD PRICE SON), I WILL GIVE YOU THE NAME OF THE PLACE.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PAYING ANYWHERE NEAR $650 FOR TIRES SON.

WHAT IS THE TIRE SIZE SON? WHAT CAR DO YOU DRIVE AND ARE THE WHEELS STOCK (LIKE WHAT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THE CAR SON)?

DO NOT FUCKING PAY THEM THAT MUCH MONEY FOR TIRES DUDE. I AM NOT KIDDING ABOUT THIS SHIT SON. TALK TO ME FOR A SEC AND WE WILL GET YOU TIRES FOR WAY, WAY LESS.

I bought tires a few months ago, then about a month ago I had to have something done with my radiator and brakes and some other small things. Now my timing belt is messed up so apparently I have to have that fixed along with ... something that usually breaks if you replace the timing belt but not that, I forget what it was called but my brother told me. Then after that I hope I'll be good to go for a while.

d00d tires for my car are expensive as fuck

cheapest ones are like $96 per tire... add on ~$30/ea for mounting/balancing/alignment, and you're gettin expensive

^for suv-size tires, yeah, i think so... damn you 17s

You don't put cheap tires on a great handling vehicle like the Chrysler Pacifica.

Sorry Evan...had to do it.

discount tire will match any online price you can find (+shipping, which isn't as much as you'd think for tires) along with giving you free rotations for the life of the tires

for the altimax tires that you mentioned - including mounting it shouldn't be over $515 absolute max - who pays $30 for mounting? much less lifetime balancing/rotation included?

for the cheaper kumhos it'd be ~$50 less - you'd be an idiot not to save $50 on tires for a minivan

I use Kumho and Sumitomo tires exclusively on my cars. They make good shit and reasonable prices. There's no need to spend shitloads of money on tires for a car like that. I don't even spend a lot on tires for my Miata.

Order them online, tirerack has always worked GREAT for me. Then have them mounted here (Westgate Imports):

Get these right here son, Kumho Solus KR21:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=Solus+KR21&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=365TR7KR21&fromCompare1=yes&place=9

Mount them at Westgate Imports, the place I linked above. Their prices are shown on that page. They will not fuck your wheels up like 95% of places will.
