I miss my grandma.

She's pretty awesome, too. Wonder if I'll be home before Thanksgiving to see her or if I'll have to wait.

When is Thanksgiving?

I feel you. At 91, my grandma eloped with an 89 year old retired dentist who had served as a doctor in the pacific in WWII. Pretty kick-ass if you ask me.

I never got to know my grandmas.

Paternal one died before I was born (or when I was very little). Met my paternal step-grandma twice ever.

Maternal one, I met just once. And she has passed away since.



Paternal grandpa, met him just twice, has passed away since then. Maternal grandpa died before I was born (or when I was very little).


So yeah, I never really knew my grandparents.


I will do everything in my power to be close to my future grandchildren.

My grandmother is 88 years old and the baddest MoFo that I have ever known.
She's your stereotypical hard as nails southern matriarch.
And I adore her.

yea i only knew one, maternal grandparents died before i was born, paternal grandfather when i was 3
