agreed. movie totally owned. great tension the entire film that never resolved until exploding in that final scene (which was an awesome scene by the way).

I need to buy this movie.

So amazing.

Should have won best picture. It's more of a character driven, almost "literary" film, while NCfOM is more on the genre side. and this > NCfOM.

Except I really liked the ending. It was not only awesome, but I was also glad that it had finally gotten to that point. Seemed like the development and the build-up just lasted forever without really having much content to them.

DDL was a better actor than anyone in NCFOM

both movies are crap.

(p.s. the people who enjoy NCFOM are the people that were delighted to read Wuthering Heights back in the day)

I have to disagree. I detest Wuthering Heights more than any book I have ever read (except for the one passage about the air swarming with "catherines") and I loved both NCFOM and TWBB.

it was slow in parts, but showed an interesting comparison of capitalism vs religion. in the end the capitalism wins. Also about family relationships and what defines family -i.e. blood and related or not.
