step 1. select your pumpkin, thinking about the size of your design.



step 2. bring home your pumpkin



step 3. choose the flattest side of your pumpkin to carve the design into



step 4. cut off the lid, making sure to leave a "tooth" so you know how to put the lid back on



step 5. gut that motha fucka. if you want to bake the seeds, separate them from the pumpkin filling. you can also use the pumpkin filling to make pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, or pumpkin cheesecake





step 6. tape your pattern to the pumpkin, and trace it with a pin, or tracing tool. bonus points for looking sexy as you do this




step 7. you are now ready to cut out your design using a small saw tool. then light it up and enjoy!!

if you pumpkin starts drying out, you can soak it in water for a few hours, and you'll be good

my friends had people over to carve pumpkins

everyone played it safe and did something halloween related

i chose a political stencil, i wanted a challenge and im not worried ab someone smashing my pumpkin

i took about 20-30min longer than everyone else
