15 minutes before bed: blanket turned up to high
bedtime: humans learn they can, in fact, purr. Warm flannel sheets may cause involuntary pleasure shivers.
wake up time: do not want

[Edited on October 28, 2008 at 8:30 AM. Reason : and i'd much rather have my down comforters]

I've always liked the cheap lightweight cotton-stuffed comforters. Down comforters and cotton blankets are too heavy and make me feel smothered. If it's really cold I'll add an acrylic fleece blanket. Then again, I'm a guy who runs a fan in the bedroom when it's 30 degrees outside.

my fiance DESPISES cold weather! last night he turns on the heat, and i immediately start sweating--TERRIBLE I TELL YA! the thermostat is our battleground

i open the closet later to see if we had a box to wrap a present in. lo and behold...it's the electric blanket he just HAD to have last christmas--still in the bag, never opened

I love electric blankets, but for some reason I always get hot in bed no matter how cold it is, so I only use mine on the couch or the like.

I used to have one at my parents house. They don't turn on the heat until icecicles hang from the ceiling. The cats would never leave my bed in the winter

I love electric blankets, but I currently only own an electric blanket. The cord and other important parts are somehow missing

My down comforter is way more than enough. I only went with the light fill too. I would die if there was too much down in it. I'm so hot natured.

^^^I'm hot blooded

you don't have to read my mind
to know what i have in mind! [/foreigner]

seriously though, the air vent in my dorm blows straight at my bed. it's cold as fuck outside so i run heat 24/7 (running the fuck up with NC State's bills) and my bed + my hot self = hot as fuck

I had the coldest room ever at school. I had flannal sheets and an electric blanket and a down comforter and it was amazing. turned the blanket on 10 minutes before bed each night and slept so wonderfully.

now back at home i have to have a fan running and just have a sheet and comforter. I was a little cold last night, so maybe i'll add another layer when i change my sheets next.
