metro son[Edited on October 28, 2008 at 8:30 AM. Reason : and i'd much rather have my down comforters]
10/28/2008 8:30:28 AM
I've always liked the cheap lightweight cotton-stuffed comforters. Down comforters and cotton blankets are too heavy and make me feel smothered. If it's really cold I'll add an acrylic fleece blanket. Then again, I'm a guy who runs a fan in the bedroom when it's 30 degrees outside.
10/28/2008 9:56:01 AM
my fiance DESPISES cold weather! last night he turns on the heat, and i immediately start sweating--TERRIBLE I TELL YA! the thermostat is our battleground i open the closet later to see if we had a box to wrap a present in. lo and behold...it's the electric blanket he just HAD to have last christmas--still in the bag, never opened
10/28/2008 10:00:57 AM
electric blankets are too hot for me
10/28/2008 10:03:10 AM
I love electric blankets, but for some reason I always get hot in bed no matter how cold it is, so I only use mine on the couch or the like.
10/28/2008 10:03:24 AM
I used to have one at my parents house. They don't turn on the heat until icecicles hang from the ceiling. The cats would never leave my bed in the winter
10/28/2008 10:05:39 AM
I love electric blankets, but I currently only own an electric blanket. The cord and other important parts are somehow missing
10/28/2008 10:05:53 AM
10/28/2008 10:07:45 AM

^^^I'm hot blooded you don't have to read my mindto know what i have in mind! [/foreigner]seriously though, the air vent in my dorm blows straight at my bed. it's cold as fuck outside so i run heat 24/7 (running the fuck up with NC State's bills) and my bed + my hot self = hot as fuck
10/28/2008 10:36:11 AM
I really should buy one.
10/28/2008 10:51:22 AM
I had the coldest room ever at school. I had flannal sheets and an electric blanket and a down comforter and it was amazing. turned the blanket on 10 minutes before bed each night and slept so wonderfully.now back at home i have to have a fan running and just have a sheet and comforter. I was a little cold last night, so maybe i'll add another layer when i change my sheets next.
