and what would you like to know?

dogs are the most genetically diverse species and they think it may be do to the fact that dogs have the largest numbers of tandom repeats within their genome, reinforcing their characteristics

also, autism is a spectral disorder and polygenic with some 30+ genes

speciation within evolved neural networks seems to increase the rate at which the population closes upon a usable solution by an order of magnitude or so

also, starting with very small networks and growing them incrementally seems to cause the population to close more rapidly on usuable solutions as well.

Identical twins do not have identical fingerprints because fingerprints are not entirely genetic.

polydactylism is a dominant trait, but it's expression is also influenced by environmental factors

and the coloration of tortishell cats is the result of random inactivation of one of the two X chromosomes in each cell, creating a unique pattern. (this formation of a barr body limits each cell to express ONLY orange or black.)

the chromosomal difference between humans and chimpanzees is due to a robertsonian translocation.

Through genetic recombination, and a stroke of luck, you can become Spider-man.
