with the departure of baron davis and some injuries, demarcus nelson is now the starting PG for the warriors...he never played PG in college at duke...kind of crazy.
golden state better pray that ellis heals quickly... 10/30/2008 12:11:38 AM |

Monta Ellis is not a great option at PG either even though I am sure he'd be better than Nelson. Ellis is a ball hog and turnover king. Yeah he is a great, explosive scorer, but he does not have the maturity to run the point right now. 10/30/2008 8:57:06 AM |

the warriors will not win many games with nelson as their starting pg. besides the fact that he is a rookie, he has never played pg before. i don't picture him as a guy that can make others around him better with great passes as he has been the recipient of those passes his whole career. never known as a great touch or finesse guy at duke which is what all good pg's are.
i've seen crazier things but nelson is not a pg. he is a good reserve, energy off the bench sg in the nba. not a starting pg. 10/30/2008 9:20:49 AM |
