actually, in the H.S. I went to, I found this to be true.

All, and I mean all of my black friends from middle school stopped hanging out with me, talking to me, etc not long after getting to high school (along with some upperclassmen that didn't talk/hang out with me).

I'm not saying all the black people there were racist and that I didn't have any black friends (made a few that were upperclassmen or moved to the school).

Sure there were white racists, but I saw more racism go the other way around. This included a black vice principal too.

yeah, i've heard the contrary, too. I had miles of black friends in high school, and still do. not implying you're racist, just saying it's quite case-sensitive. PEOPLE, as a rule, generally, are racist. there is absolutely no fucking way to deduce quantitatively which group is more racist. I only know that blacks have more of a right to be racist, historically. I know that if my grandmother was arrested, slandered, beaten for BEING BLACK IN THE 50S, I'd have some resentment.

Same token, though, I too have had black friends just kinda drop off the planet. And I've probably managed to drop a few black friends in my day. And it is racism. Not necessarily malicious at all, but anytime race is a factor in anything, I consider it racism. Racism can sometimes = social comfort.

6^I can understand that, and agree that everyone is prejudice/racist/etc in some form or another, against some group. That's just human nature. Sad? yes.

However, I don't think any group is more racist than another, in a holistic view, only in certain segments, areas, etc.

And I don't think any group has more of a right to be racist. What was done to blacks in this country was completely wrong. But that doesn't mean it's my fault and that I should have to suffer. Instead we should ensure equality for all, which we have done. The problem in America today is education. It's not that minorities don't get a free education like the rest, but in large urban areas, some schools with high minority populations often are behind other schools in terms of quality. The solution to this is improving those schools, and not government policies and programs based on race, gender, etc, as this lack of quality in education effects any race, gender, etc.

In theory there could never be racism against Whites because they have never been in a society where is was normal for them to be beaten, hanged, raped, killed, slaved, etc etc... Another way to put it is that Blacks are the only group of people that the world is truly racist to in theory because of aforementioned reasons. America was founded by people that allowed such actions against Blacks, and this painted a beastly picture of Blacks to the world... basically no other race of people have used another race for slavery, so this is what created racism. This is just my opinion.

Nobody has the right to be racist. Whites did not start racism. I thinks some black folks react to racism with racism, but hate is hate no matter what race you are. Slavery was practiced in Africa before the beginning of the Atlantic slave trade.The African slave trade provided a large number of slaves to Europeans and their African agents. Where the african americans are concerned slavery started in Africa when Africans captured and sold their own people into the european slave trade before the practice was outlawed. Africans replaced Indians as the main population of slaves in the Americas. Today, Africans are still forcing their own people into a form of slavery when the army raids camps to capture and force the healthy males to work in the diamond mines. Before Africans were sold into the slave trade there were the countless other accounts where whites captured whites for slaves. Who do you think built the pyramids in Egypt. SLAVES and not black slaves. I think it was more a stronger culture forcing a weaker culture to do it's bidding. It was truly a dark time in the history of mankind. It is sad to say but we still have slaves today it you count the human trafficking sex trade in the Hispanic Russian and Asian cultures.
