Calipari is just covering all his bases. Holtz is old, crazy and has no idea what he's doing with the money.

i'm just sick of this 'random' humor. I used to like family guy too, but come on, write a complete joke instead of putting some nonsense together that makes people go 'wtf' and then trying to pass that off as funny.

^^It's not family guy random at all.

Sharks have been a goddamned meme on the internet for a couple years, at least.

exactly, it's been around, and it's losing it's appeal. at one time i found it funny, but now it just seems that all you have too do is take a manatee and make a cartoon about it having a hard time ordering pizza and you've got a goddamned hit. i just don't find things like that funny anymore.

it's not just a shark high-fiving a monkey

it's a goddamn great white high-fiving a silverback gorilla. two of the baddest-ass animals on this earth. high-fiving with enough force to cause explosions

You're missing the point entirely.

Yes, the manatee stuff is shit. A lot of things are shit. But you just said you were sick of random humor like this, I said it's not random, then you said that was exactly the problem. Completely irrational. Fine if you don't like random humor, I agree that it's getting old in the family-guy sense, but you're trying to take it out against something that's really not all that random.

If you don't use the internet enough to understand this one, just look away and stop raging against it. And don't buy the shirt. I don't really want to buy it either, but I at least "get" what it's doing.

Also, MySpace has no place in a discussion of internet-based humor. It is completely separated from the rest of what could be considered "internet culture", as are nearly all social networking sites. And yes, using ninja as a mood is fucking stupid. But it's because MySpace is demonstrating a classic example of "DOING IT WRONG", not because of your reasons.

hey buddy, i didn't know you owned stock in it so i'll lay off. also consider yourself proud to have the intellect to be able to laugh a gorilla-shark-high-five-explosion.

i'm not being hostile about this and i'll i've been saying is that I don't find it funny anymore

^missing the point again.

I didn't say I laughed at it, I said I understood why it could be/is funny. Big difference.

Humor in general has multiple levels of depth and you're barely scratching the surface. I guess that's why I'm annoyed... that you're trying to rail against something you really don't know much about, and act as a humor analyst when you're clearly nothing of the sort. Not because I have some affinity for gorillas and sharks.

meh, though. If you're going to quit the criticisms, I'll quit telling you off for them.

That and most "edgy" t-shirts. Especially when I go out and see a 30 year old man wearing a t-shirt talking about his cock.
