You know in a 5th grade class talking about the upcoming election would normally be a very great learning experience. However, the moment that teacher let her personal opinions come into the discussion she failed the students. If she wanted to tell the class where each person stands on certain issues she should have just said objectively what their policy was.

The talk started off good, but it ended very poorly.

I hope she feels good about being able to pwn a 5th grader in a political discussion.

I've been saying for years that a lot of teachers are really messed up people. People talk about cops going on power trips, but my experiences with teachers were just the same. I had quite a few teachers who I truly respected, but the majority of them had some serious issues.
