If you need to take Bus 420 next semester, take it with Bartley Danielsen, he's a really good professor for this class and is extremely straight forward. He's not going to give you tests that will make you go over the alloted class time or try and make you jump through some ridiculous hoops like some others that will remain nameless.
He's just cool, speaks to us like the adults that we are and is really smart. He has a great background of experience, so he's not just a phd professor (which he does have that too) without practical experience. And, best of all, he actually knows how to explain something well. Some of the stuff we do in his class is stuff we've done in other classes, but he makes it more interesting and more clear.
So, there you have it, just wanted to give him a thumbs up because he's not a professor I was familiar with previously. Oh and the final is optional.

where in my post did I say he was an "easy way out?" I said he was straight forward and explained the material well. You still have to study and pass his tests.

I'm just trying to recommend a good professor here. Nowhere in my post did I say "take him, it's the easiest class I've ever had." Just trying to make a recommendation.

I don't want to name any names either, but I'm going to anyway to save you poor kids the headache. Its Mitchell and she has homeworks due every single god blessed day. And her tests (at least in the 50 minute classes) are ridiculously long. Just FYI for anyone who has to take this class.

Mitchell isn't a bad professor. She gives you everything you need to know in order to learn the material and do well in the class. If I remember correctly, the HW was just to give you an easy grade booster. The tests aren't that bad. If you know the material, you will probably take most of the allotted time because some of the material takes time to work through. If you don't know the material, you probably won't finish during the given amount of time. I don't see anything wrong with this. It doesn't make her tests ridiculously long.

I don't like Mitchell for another reason alluded to in the original post (comments made to some students).

Danielsen taught one of my MBA classes lasst year. Down to earth guy who you could talk to easily. I'd recommend him.
