A zip gun is an improvised firearm made from a piece of pipe, maglite, or other materials. They are normally very cheap to build. Has anyone on here ever made one before?

They normally have a heavy spring inside to push a firing pin or hammer and you pull back and release the firing pin to shoot. Almost all of them are single shot. They can be disguised as a cell phone, ink pen, flashlight, etc.

i made one of these in middle school that shot bb's........ could go through multiple sheets of card-stock. but this shit is serial.

YEAH THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THEM IS THAT THEY USUALLY FIRE A .22LR OR .22 SHORT.

THOSE CALIBERS, ESPECIALLY WHEN FIRED OUT OF A SUPER SHORT BARREL, ARE INCREDIBLY WEAK. I MEAN, THEY CAN KILL YOU, BUT IT'S NOT VERY LIKELY IN MOST SITUATIONS.

IN FACT, EVEN A STANDARD .22LR HANDGUN CAN HAVE TROUBLE GETTING A BULLET THROUGH A HUMAN SKULL. THERE ARE PLENTY OF ACCOUNTS OF BULLETS HITTING SKULLS AND THEN RUNNING AROUND THE SKULL TRAPPED BETWEEN THE SCALP AND THE SKULL, LOL.

YEAH BUT IF YOU FUCK UP BUILDING IT YOU CAN DAMAGE BULLETS AS THEY ENTER OR LEAVE THE SILENCER.
